Film crews spotted in Leamington's Jephson Gardens
Film crews have been spotted filming in Leamington this week.
The crews were spotted in part of Jephson Gardens on Thursday (October 29).
A passerby told The Courier and Weekly News that they had been told they were filming for the new detective drama The Detection Club.
Set in 1930s London during ‘the golden age of detective fiction’, The Detection Club covers the three most famous crime writers of our time – Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers and G.K. Chesterton, joining forces to solve real-life murders.
The Detection Club stars Miles Jupp as G.K. Chesterton, Bryony Hannah as Agatha Christie, Cara Theobold as Dorothy L. Sayers and Viraj Juneja as D.I. Greenway.
The passerby also said they spotted Miles Jupp during the filming.
BBC crews were also in the town filming for the series earlier in the year.
In August, filming took place outside and inside houses in Clarendon Square, Portland Place West and Grove Street.
