Youngsters given taste of Japan at Wagamama

PAN-Asian restaurant chain Wagamama invited youngsters from Coton End Primary School to get a taste of how things work behind the scenes at its Leamington branch.

Two classes of pupils from the school visited the restaurant in the Parade - was opened in the summer - last week.

They learned how various Japanese dishes were made, how staff take orders and how the restaurant is run.

The visits were part of new workshops being offered by the chain featuring new character, Hoshi - which means star in Japanese.

Goody bags available as part of the school visits included origami inspired worksheets, stickers, aprons, reusable jute bags and an attendance certificate.

The Leamington branch of Wagamama is the largest in the UK.
