Thrills, chills and family fun await at Draycote Water's Halloween Trail
This October half-term, families are invited to step into a world of hauntingly good fun at Draycote Water’s Halloween Trail.

Enjoy a frightfully fun mystery quest brimmed with spooky riddles, hidden clues and fang-tastic prizes for little monsters and grown-up ghouls alike. The trail will be open from 10am to 4pm, running from Saturday 24th October to Sunday 1st November 2026.
Follow the path to help Willow the Witch answer all the questions - you might even meet some of her friends along the way. Once the final riddle has been cracked, return to the Visitor Hub to claim a prize.
Young adventurers and their grown-ups can collect activity sheets for £4 from the Visitor Hub, and begin their Halloween journey around the Country Park. Each completed sheet gets a sweet treat, with non-sweet and vegan options available.
No pre-booking is required - just turn up and join the fun. Please bring a pen or pencil to complete your trail. Don’t be afraid to dress up and put on your best spooky show!
Donna Marshall, Senior Visitor Engagement Officer at Severn Trent, said: “We can’t wait to be welcoming families to the Halloween trail across the October half-term. This is just one of the many activities on offer for visitors who make the trip to Draycote Water, and we are looking forward to you all getting stuck in.
“Draycote Water is a wonderful site that all can explore, with lots of walking trails, a lovely play area, and water sports too. There really is something for everyone! The Waterside Restaurant and Waterside Café & Takeaway will also be open, so families can grab a bite to eat before heading back out to explore more of the amazing site.”
