New private GP clinic in Balsall Common will officially open this weekend
A new private GP clinic will officially open in Balsall Common this weekend.
AtWell Private GP and Health Clinic, which is in 164 Station Road, is due to open on Saturday (August 22).
The clinic’s doors will be open to the public from 12pm until 3pm, with the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Sardul Marwa MBE, performing the ceremonial ribbon-cutting at 12.30pm.
The community is being invited to drop in on the day for a look around and to meet the doctors and clinical team. There will also be refreshments and free parking.

AtWell was founded by Dr Rajveer Athwal, who set up the clinic to “bring thorough, usually same-day medical care to the village, delivered by a nine-strong clinical team of GPs, a hormone specialist, a nurse prescriber and a physiotherapist”.
Dr Athwal said: “Everything we’ve built starts from one idea – that your doctor should have time for you.
“We’d love people to come and see the clinic for themselves on Saturday, and everyone is welcome.”
He added: “Balsall Common is a wonderful community, and it deserves care close to home.
“Whether it’s a same-day appointment for a poorly child, an ADHD or autism assessment, physiotherapy after an injury or a thorough health check, our door will be open.”
