Warwickshire record holder Paddy Doyle is pleased as punch
Paddy adds three more records to take amazing career total to 1,046
Warwickshire's endurance athlete and multi-world record holder Paddy Doyle took to the mat once again and not only to beat a held record, but also set the bar for two brand new records.

Paddy attempted the 'most right fist only (one-handed) punches in 30 seconds’ and set a brand new European British Martial Arts Masters' age category record, achieving an impressive 171 punches in 30 seconds.

He then completed the 'most one-handed punches in 15 seconds' in which he completed a fantastic 96, setting the bar for another new European British Masters age categor martial arts record.
Paddy then went on to beat the world record previously held by martial arts expert Lai Chao of Taiwan, set in 2025, of 'most one-handed punches in 30 seconds', Paddy coming through with a fantastic 192 punches to beat the previous record of 181 in 30 seconds.
It wrapped up three further records to add to Paddy's tally which now stands at a career 1,046, and it was another positive morning for the team involved.
Doyle said: “It was another tough morning.
“The lactic acid build-up in my arms slowed down the punches as the seconds went by, but I was determined to beat each speed challenge record.”
